BORIC ACID 30g

Properties: colourless brilliant scales or fine white crystal powder, soluble in 25 parts of cold water, 4 parts of boiling water and in 25 parts of alcohol.
Pharmacological action: has weak bacteriostatic, antiseptic and fungistatic properties, provides antipediculose effect. Indications:pediculosis, skin diseases.
Caution: avoid entering the eyes.
Pregnancy and lactation: solutions of boric acid are not applied for treatment of mammary glands at feeding mothers.
Contraindications: boric acid is contraindicated to children (including newborns). The Ointment is not applied at acute inflammatory diseases of hairy surface of skin.
Storage: at temperature 15-25°C in a dry, cool place, out of the reach of children.
