Furalgin Dosage form: Ear drops Description: Clear, viscous liquid of light yellow color. Composition for 100 g: Active ingredients – 7.0 g phenazone, 2.5 g tetracaine hydrochloride, 0.2 g nitrofural; Excipient – glycerin up to 100 g. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Otological preparations, analgesics and anesthetics, combination. Indications for use: For acute inflammatory diseases of the external ear canal and middle ear (dry or weeping eczema, furuncles, otitis, catarrhal inflammation). Method of administration and dosage: Method of application: for instillation into the ear! Not for internal use! The drops are applied after cleaning the external ear canal. The head should be tilted to the side so that the drops remain in the ear for several minutes, after which the ear canal is closed with cotton wool. It is necessary to pre- warm the solution to body temperature to avoid unpleasant contact with cold drops and irritation of the vestibular apparatus. Dosage: Adults and children over 3 years of age: 6-10 drops 3-4 times a day. Children under 3 years of age: 3-4 drops 2 times a day. Duration of treatment: determined by the physician. Do not continue for more than 10 days. Packaging: 5 g in vial-dropper. Storage conditions: Store in a place out of reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
