BORIC ACID ointment 5% 25g

Composition of 100g: 5g boric acid, 95g vaseline.
Pharmacological properties: antiseptic, has antibacterial, antifungal, antiparasitic, astringent effects. By coagulation of protein in microbic cell, it provides local irritating, weak cytotoxic effect.
Indicatons: Pediculosis.
Contraindications and side-effects: is not recommended in children, pregnant women, feeding mothers, in kidney function disorder and persons with hypersensibility to preparation components. Allergic reactions are possible. Directions for use: for external use, apply a thin layer to the affected area (s0. Don’t apply to big part of skin. Do not use longer than 5-7 days. At prediculosis 10-20g of 5% of boric acid ointment is applied on the hairy part of the head (depending on the degree of contamination and density of hair) wait 30 min., rinse out with lukewarm water and comb carefully.
Storage conditions: keep out of the reach of children, in a cool, dark place.
Shelf life: 2 years.
