Area of Application
Indications For Use- • Infected wounds in the second phase of the healing process (absence of pus and necrotic tissues);
- • Long-lasting, non-healing trophic ulcers;
- • Second- to third-degree burns.
Method of Use
Application InstructionsExternally. Apply to the wound surface after surgical cleaning, then cover with a sterile dressing, or apply directly to dressing material. Fill deep purulent wound cavities loosely with soaked swabs, and insert saturated gauze turundas into fistulous tracts. Apply once every 1–3 days based on healing dynamics.
Contraindications
When Not To Use- • Individual hypersensitivity to chloramphenicol or components;
- • Bone marrow suppression (hematopoiesis suppression);
- • Acute intermittent porphyria, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency;
- • Hepatic (liver) and/or renal (kidney) insufficiency;
- • Skin diseases (fungal infections, psoriasis, eczema);
- • Pregnancy and breastfeeding periods, newborns up to 4 weeks.
Precautions
Safety Information- • Never apply in the first phase of wound healing (profuse pus, tissue edema, necrosis presence) due to lack of osmotic activity.
- • Requires systematic monitoring of peripheral blood counts during extended therapy.
- • Use with caution in early pediatric age or after cytostatic/radiation therapy.
