Area Of Application
Indications For Use- • Chronic tonsillitis, chronic purulent otitis, chronic atrophic rhinitis.
- • Chronic periodontitis (mouth rinsing).
- • Purulent wounds, trophic and varicose skin ulcers.
- • Thermal and chemical burns of I and II degrees.
- • Disinfection of skin surrounding wounds, abrasions, incisions, and surgical fields.
Method To Use
Application Instructions- • Locally (rinsing, washing, lubricating tonsils) and externally (dressings). Do not swallow! For rinsing the oral cavity and throat, it is recommended to use diluted solutions with warm boiled water in ratios from 1:1 to 1:5.
- • Tonsillitis: rinse tonsillar lacunae with pure solution 4–5 times with 2–3 day intervals (dose: 50 ml). For throat gargling, use a diluted solution (1:1 to 1:5) 3–4 times a day.
- • Purulent otitis: instill 5–8 drops daily.
- • Periodontitis and stomatitis: rinse mouth 3 times a day with 15 ml after meals using a diluted solution (1:1 to 1:5 depending on mucosal sensitivity).
- • Ulcers/wounds/burns: apply multi-layer gauze wraps soaked in pure solution. For ulcers, pre-wash skin and apply zinc ointment around the area.
Contraindications
When Not To Use- • Hypersensitivity to iodine or formula ingredients.
- • Thyrotoxicosis (hyperthyroidism).
- • Dermatitis herpetiformis (Duhring's disease).
- • Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- • Children under 18 years of age.
Precautions
Safety Information- • Strictly avoid getting the product into the eyes; if contact occurs, rinse immediately with water or 1% sodium thiosulfate.
- • May interfere with thyroid hormone blood test results.
- • Anti-septic activity is significantly reduced in alkaline/acid environments or in the presence of fat, pus, or blood.
- • Do not use concurrently with other disinfectants or hydrogen peroxide.
