Area Of Application
Indications For Use- • For acute inflammatory conditions of the external auditory canal and middle ear;
- • Dry or weeping eczema of the ear canal;
- • Furuncles of the external ear;
- • Otitis media and catarrhal inflammation.
Method To Use
Application InstructionsFor ear instillation only! Do not swallow! Apply after cleaning the ear canal. Pre-warm the solution to body temperature before use. Tilt head sideways, instill drops, leave for a few minutes, then close with cotton.
- • Adults and children over 3 years: 6–10 drops 3–4 times a day.
- • Children under 3 years: 3–4 drops 2 times a day.
- • Course: up to 10 days.
Contraindications
When Not To Use- • Hypersensitivity to phenazone, tetracaine, nitrofural, or other local anesthetics;
- • Perforation of the tympanic membrane (eardrum);
- • Otomycosis (fungal infection of the ear).
Precautions
Safety Information- • Prior to use, verify the eardrum integrity; if perforated, absorption can trigger systemic toxic effects.
- • Avoid contact with eyes.
- • If drops accidentally enter the tympanic cavity, a specialist must perform a pressure-free saline wash immediately.
