Direct targeted destruction
Bacterial flavoproteins convert nitrofural into highly reactive derivatives that alter structural protein conformations, causing microbial death.
Anaerobic infection control
Shows proven clinical efficacy when addressing complex anaerobic pathogens located directly on the open wound surface.
Broad spectrum of action
Actively suppresses key Gram-positive and Gram-negative strains, including Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, and E. coli.
Low resistance risk
Bacterial resistance to the active compound develops very slowly and consistently fails to reach high clinical degrees.
FURACILIN OINTMENT
Furacilin Ointment 0.2% by Esco-Pharm is a classic antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory formulation designed for effective skin layer recovery. By utilizing active nitrofural inside a pure protective vaseline base, it blocks essential protein synthesis within pathogens to stop local inflammation. Specially engineered for managing purulent wounds, pressure ulcers, second- to third-degree burns, and anaerobic infections, it provides steady support for tissue healing.
