Area Of Application
Indications For Use- • Infected wounds of various etiologies (origins).
Method To Use
Application Instructions- Externally, locally. The preparation is applied by dusting the powder over the affected skin areas using a sterile gauze napkin. The required amount depends entirely on the wound area and varies from 1 to 5 sachets.
Contraindications
When Not To Use- • Individual hypersensitivity to sulfacetamide, sodium sulfacetamide, or any other sulfanilamide preparations.
Precautions
Safety Information- • Discontinue immediately at the very first symptoms of hypersensitivity.
- • Patients with prior sensitivity to furosemide, thiazide diuretics, or sulfonylureas may show cross-sensitivity to Albucid.
- • Avoid continuous long-term application to prevent the growth of resistant bacteria or fungi.
